You want it to be an interesting description of you so more people will want to follow you.
3. Share Your Twitter Handle on Other Networks – If you have a blog, make sure your Twitter handle is visible; the same goes for all your social networks. You can also link your Twitter account to many of the other social media sites. This needs to be done so your tweets can be viewed on all your media. All emails you send should also include your twitter handle in the signature section.
4. Follow Others – If it seems that you are not getting the number of followers you want, you can start following others. Most of the time they will follow you back without knowing you just to see what you’re about. This is another reason the photo and bio are so important.
There are many ways to gain more Twitter followers. Some people think it is a good idea to buy more followers but this is not always necessary. You can easily gain a hundred new followers a week if you use the tips outlined above. When all else fails, start following other people and most of the time they’ll follow you back (but don’t be a spammer about it).
